Directions & notes How to take the product.

Recommended dosage

Melinava Liposomal Shilajit is a high-strength formula, with 400 mg shilajit and 2 mg zinc from zinc picolinate per daily dose.

Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of water. For best results, we recommend taking it regularly for at least 8 weeks.

Tip if you have difficulty swallowing

Place the capsule in your mouth with plenty of water and tilt your head forward (towards your chest). This makes swallowing much easier. Alternatively, you can empty the contents of the capsule into a glass of water and drink it.

Note

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.

Contraindications

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. For adults only. If you are taking immunosuppressants or anticoagulants, consult a doctor before use.

Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

The black gold of the Himalayas.

Deep in the rock crevices of the Himalayas lies a natural product with a long history. Over millions of years, plant material breaks down there under extreme pressure and fluctuating temperatures. The result is a mineral-rich resin that has been known in traditional Asian medicine for thousands of years.

In Ayurvedic medicine in particular, shilajit is traditionally associated with strength and vitality. The Sanskrit term roughly translates as “destroyer of weakness”. Melinava Liposomal Shilajit combines this time-honoured natural resin with innovative technology, delivering a high-strength complex of fulvic acid, humic acid and over 80 minerals straight from the high mountain regions of the Indian Himalayas. It is enriched with valuable zinc picolinate, an organic, highly bioavailable form of zinc, and encapsulated in liposomes for optimised absorption.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

Shaped by nature over millions of years. Prepared for you.

High up in the mountains, where barely anything grows and temperatures fluctuate dramatically, something special forms over millions of years. Plants, minerals and microorganisms are trapped in the rock under great pressure and slowly compressed into a blackish-brown resin. In summer, when temperatures rise and the rock expands, it seeps out of the cracks in the rocks. The people of the Himalayas call it “black gold”. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is regarded as one of the most important natural remedies for vitality, strength and stamina. What makes it unique is its composition: fulvic acid, humic acid and over 80 minerals and trace elements such as iron, magnesium, copper, manganese and calcium.

Fulvic acid: the natural mineral binder.

Not all the minerals we take in actually reach the places where they are needed. Fulvic acid is the characteristic component of shilajit and one of the most complex substances found in nature. It forms over very long periods of time as organic material breaks down. Chemically, it has the ability to bind minerals and trace elements – a property that makes it a carrier of many elements in nature and is increasingly attracting the attention of researchers. In shilajit, it never occurs alone but always together with more than 80 minerals and trace elements.

Zinc: inconspicuous, but indispensable.

Zinc is one of the most important trace elements in the human body and is present in almost every tissue. Even so, the body cannot store zinc. A regular intake is therefore essential, especially as we get older.

Zinc has many functions: among other things, it contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and contributes to normal cognitive function. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Melinava Shilajit combines shilajit resin with zinc picolinate, the organic, more easily absorbed form of zinc.

Questions and answers.

Shilajit is a mineral-rich natural resin that forms from plants in high mountain regions over millions of years. It is found in the rock crevices of the Himalayas and has been part of traditional Central Asian medicine for thousands of years. Shilajit contains fulvic acid, humic acid and over 80 minerals and trace elements such as iron, magnesium and calcium.

Possible signs or reasons for taking it:

  • Wanting targeted support for energy metabolism and the immune system with zinc
  • High mental or physical strain in everyday life
  • Wanting a natural supplement for a targeted intake of minerals

Conventional shilajit products have one crucial weakness: in its raw form, the active ingredient is poorly soluble and absorbed inconsistently by the body, depending on what was eaten and when. At the same time, some of the shilajit is broken down in the digestive tract before it reaches the cells.

This is exactly where the liposomal formulation comes in. The active ingredient is enclosed in tiny fatty shells that protect it from being broken down in the digestive tract. The same applies to zinc picolinate. While inorganic forms of zinc are often lost in the digestive tract, the combination of organic picolinate binding and liposomal formulation ensures more consistent absorption.

Melinava Liposomal Shilajit should ideally be stored in a cool (below 25°C), dry place away from light.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

As with all food supplements, individual experiences vary and depend on factors such as age, diet, lifestyle and how regularly it is taken. For a consistent supply, we recommend taking it daily for at least 8 weeks.

At the recommended dosage, shilajit extract and zinc picolinate are considered very well tolerated. Anyone undergoing treatment with immunosuppressants or anticoagulants should check with a doctor before use.
