Directions & notes How to take the product.

Recommended dosage

Melinava Liposomal PEA is a high-strength formula, with 313 mg of PEA per daily dose.

Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of water. For best results, we recommend taking it regularly for at least 8 weeks.

Tip if you have difficulty swallowing

Place the capsule in your mouth with plenty of water and tilt your head forward (towards your chest). This makes swallowing much easier. Alternatively, you can empty the contents of the capsule into a glass of water and drink it.

Note

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

Contraindications

Suitable for adults only and not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you are under medical treatment, please check with a doctor before use.

Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

Support your body recognises.

PEA stands for palmitoylethanolamide, a fat-like compound that occurs naturally in the human body. Since its discovery in the 1950s, generations of researchers have studied its effects. More than 1,000 studies have now been published, and the Italian Nobel laureate Rita Levi-Montalcini contributed significantly to understanding the role of PEA in the human body.

But PEA is not only found in the human body; it also occurs in the cells of animals, marine organisms and plants. It is formed from palmitic acid by almost all of the body's cells, especially when the body responds to strain, external stimuli or stress. The problem: from the age of 40, the body produces less and less of it, while the demands of everyday life keep rising.

Melinava Liposomal PEA was developed to support the body's natural levels. Thanks to its liposomal formulation, the natural, high-strength active ingredient can be taken without a high-fat meal.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

What happens in the body when it comes under pressure.

PEA belongs to the group of endogenous lipid mediators. This class of substances is being studied intensively by scientists, particularly in connection with mast cells and glial cells. Mast cells are part of the innate immune system. They register when the body is under pressure, whether from external stimuli, emotional stress or everyday strain. Glial cells perform a similar function in the nervous system. Both cell types are the focus of current research into the body's natural balancing system.

Stay active. Even after training.

Intense exercise puts demands on the body. That is why recovery afterwards is just as important as the exercise itself. It depends on the interplay of diet, sleep and the right nutrients. But as the years go by, recovery becomes increasingly difficult.

The reason: physical exertion triggers small inflammatory processes in the tissue, which the body first has to deal with. PEA occurs naturally in the body as part of this process and is increasingly being studied in sports and nutrition research. That is why many active people over 40 make PEA a regular part of their recovery routine.

Who is Melinava Liposomal PEA particularly suitable for?

PEA is the body's natural protective molecule. Because production declines with age, it is a supplement that many people benefit from, including:

  • Active people over 40 who exercise and notice longer recovery times
  • People who sit a lot, do physical work or want to take particular care of their joints
  • Women going through the menopause who want to take particular care of their bodies during this stage of life
  • People with a particularly sensitive nervous system or ongoing exhaustion from constant stress

Questions and answers.

PEA is a fatty acid that the body produces itself. It belongs to the group of endogenous lipid mediators and is involved in various cellular processes. As a food supplement, PEA is used to specifically support the body's natural levels.

Possible signs or reasons for taking it:

  • Joint stiffness, limited mobility or persistent tenderness
  • Intense exercise with long recovery times or muscle soreness
  • A sensitive nervous system
  • Wanting a well-tolerated active ingredient that the body also produces itself

PEA is a fat-soluble fatty acid. This means that without fat, it is barely absorbed in the digestive tract. Conventional PEA capsules therefore only work to their full potential when taken with a high-fat meal. The liposomal formulation fundamentally solves this problem and makes taking it easier. The active ingredient is embedded in tiny fat vesicles (known as liposomes), which provide the fatty environment it needs. The liposomes also protect the active ingredient from being broken down in the digestive tract. As a result, PEA is reliably absorbed whether or not you eat a high-fat meal.

Melinava Liposomal PEA should ideally be stored in a cool (below 25°C), dry place away from light.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The effect varies from person to person, depending on factors such as age, diet, lifestyle and dosage. The first effects on mobility and wellbeing typically appear after several weeks. For lasting results, we recommend taking it for at least 8 weeks.

PEA is a fatty acid produced by the body and is very well tolerated at the recommended dosage, with no known interactions with common food supplements. If you take medication regularly, it is best to check with your doctor first.
