Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

Vibrant orange. Naturally good.

The bright orange turmeric root is one of the oldest and most important plants in Indian culture. For thousands of years, it has been an established part of both traditional cuisine and the Ayurvedic healing arts.

Its best-known constituent is curcumin, a bioactive compound. Curcuminoids have antioxidant properties and can protect the body from oxidative stress. Whether as a spice in the kitchen or as part of Ayurvedic practices, turmeric is extremely versatile and is traditionally used to support general wellbeing.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

Balance from Ayurveda.

In Ayurvedic teaching, turmeric is particularly valued for its many different uses. It is traditionally used to support general wellbeing and is regarded as a plant that can promote inner balance and bring body and mind into harmony.

Drawing on knowledge of its properties handed down over the centuries, turmeric is often used in Ayurveda in connection with the digestive system, the joints and skin irritation. Its holistic significance makes it an integral part of the Ayurvedic way of life.

Energy that flows. For body and mind.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), too, turmeric holds a special place. The root is said to have a warming and “moving” effect. Above all, TCM holds that turmeric gets the blood moving.

It is regarded as a plant that can relieve so-called blood stasis – in other words, congestion – and support the free flow of hormones, chemical messengers and waste products. In TCM, turmeric is traditionally used in connection with liver functions, the menstrual cycle and pain in the abdomen and chest.

Antioxidant power. For your wellbeing.

Turmeric contains a wide range of antioxidants that can help to reduce oxidative stress. Antioxidants work by neutralising free radicals, unstable molecules that can cause cell damage and contribute to premature ageing and various diseases.

As a natural shield, antioxidants can help to make cells more resilient and support general wellbeing in the long term.

Questions and answers.

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a plant that has been used in Indian cuisine and Ayurveda for over 4,000 years. It belongs to the ginger family and is known for its bright orange root. The dried and ground root is used as a spice and a remedy and is a key ingredient in curry powders. Turmeric contains the active compound curcumin, which is credited with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, contributing to its many uses in traditional medicine.

The main active compound in turmeric is curcumin – a powerful antioxidant that may help protect cells from harmful free radicals. Turmeric is also often valued for its supportive effect on digestion and generally helps promote wellbeing. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, curcumin is frequently used to support the body with inflammatory complaints.

Liposomal formulations have the advantage of offering higher bioavailability than conventional capsule supplements. This is because the liposomes protect the active ingredients and can carry them intact through the digestive tract. As a result, the active ingredients can reach the bloodstream faster and more effectively and be transported to where they are needed in the body.
Thanks to this increased bioavailability, liposomal supplements such as Melinava Turmeric can have a stronger effect in the body. Liposomal supplements may also help to reduce possible side effects, as the active ingredients are released into the digestive tract in lower concentrations, making unwanted reactions there less likely.

Melinava Turmeric should ideally be stored in a cool, dry place away from light. The fridge is the best place to keep it. Once opened, the bottle should be used within 6 weeks.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The effects of turmeric can vary from person to person and depend on many factors, such as individual metabolic rate, dosage and how regularly it is taken. However, many people report noticing effects quickly, within just a few weeks, particularly in relation to the immune system and the complexion.
