Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

Sunshine from a bottle.

Vitamin D, also known as the “sunshine vitamin”, plays a crucial role in our wellbeing. As well as being important for bone health, it also influences the immune system, muscle function and mood regulation.

This versatile vitamin supports numerous key bodily functions and so makes a valuable contribution to a balanced, healthy lifestyle – especially at times of year with little sunlight.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

A booster for the immune system.

Vitamin D plays an important role in supporting the immune system. It can promote the formation of antimicrobial peptides (AMPs), which help to fend off bacteria, viruses and fungi. Vitamin D also has a regulating effect on inflammatory processes in the body and can therefore help to maintain immunological balance.

Studies show that people with adequate vitamin D levels are less susceptible to respiratory infections and can recover from illness more quickly. An adequate intake of vitamin D is therefore an important foundation for stable and resilient immune defences.

Let the sunshine into your life.

Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, can benefit not only physical but also mental health. Studies show that a vitamin D deficiency may be linked to reduced production of serotonin in the brain, a chemical messenger that plays a key role in mood, motivation and inner balance.

Through its role in regulating serotonin levels, vitamin D can help to reduce stress and support mental health. So the sunshine vitamin works not only on the body but also on emotional wellbeing – for more light and balance in everyday life.

Works beneath the surface.

Vitamin D can also provide valuable support for skin health. It helps the skin protect itself against dryness and environmental factors, can regulate inflammatory processes and plays a part in collagen formation.

Through these mechanisms, vitamin D helps to strengthen skin structure and soften signs of premature skin ageing – for a healthy-looking, resilient complexion from within.

Questions and answers.

Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin that is mainly produced when sunlight acts on the skin. It is important for regulating calcium and phosphate metabolism, bone and muscle function and the immune system.

Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in regulating calcium metabolism and bone formation. It also supports blood clotting and may help to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

The combination of vitamin D3 and K2 can be beneficial, as they work synergistically to improve bone health, strengthen the immune system and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

An adequate intake of essential nutrients is very important for a strong immune system and the body's natural defences. Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 can play a valuable supporting role here, helping the body in several ways.

Vitamin D3 contributes to the normal function of the immune system, thereby supporting the body's natural defences. It also plays an important role in the absorption of calcium, while vitamin K2 ensures that calcium is used in a targeted way in the body – particularly for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Vitamin D3 can also support muscle function.

Together, vitamins D3 and K2 can help to protect cells from oxidative stress and promote physical balance. Vitamin D3 is also involved in normal energy-yielding metabolism and can help to reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Last but not least, an adequate vitamin D level is associated with the normal function of the nervous system and can have a positive effect on mental wellbeing. This makes vitamins D3 and K2 a sensible combination for vitality, stability and balance in everyday life.

Liposomal formulations have the advantage of offering higher bioavailability than conventional capsule supplements. This is because the liposomes protect the active ingredients and can carry them intact through the digestive tract. As a result, the active ingredients can reach the bloodstream faster and more effectively and be transported to where they are needed in the body. Thanks to this increased bioavailability, liposomal supplements such as Melinava Vitamin D3+K2 can have a stronger effect in the body. Liposomal supplements may also help to reduce possible side effects, as the active ingredients are released into the digestive tract in lower concentrations, making unwanted reactions there less likely.

Melinava Vitamin D3+K2 is best stored in a cool (below 25°C), dry place away from light.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The effects of Vitamin D3 + K2 can become noticeable in different ways, depending on several factors such as individual metabolic rate, dosage and how regularly it is taken. However, many people report noticing effects quickly, within a few weeks, particularly in terms of mood and cognitive abilities. When it comes to supporting the immune system, regular use may also reduce the risk of infections and inflammation after a relatively short time.

As vitamin D is involved in numerous important processes in the body, deficiency symptoms can show up in very different ways. People affected often report tiredness, exhaustion and reduced physical resilience. Muscle weakness, muscle cramps and joint or bone pain can also be signs of insufficient vitamin D levels.

In addition, a deficiency can weaken the immune system, increasing susceptibility to infections and colds and potentially delaying wound healing. Mood swings, low mood and sleep problems are also frequently linked to an insufficient supply.

Other possible signs include hair loss and hormonal dysregulation, as vitamin D is also involved in regulating hormonal processes. An adequate intake is therefore crucial to support physical balance, the body's defences and general wellbeing in the long term.
