Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

The key to natural strength.

Vitamin B12, often called the ‘energy vitamin’, plays a crucial role in our wellbeing. It is not only essential for energy production in the body, but also of great importance for maintaining healthy nervous and immune systems.

As a water-soluble vitamin, vitamin B12 is involved in numerous metabolic processes and contributes to normal red blood cell formation, which is vital for oxygen transport in the body.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

Strengthening the immune system.

Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal function of the immune system and is involved in the production of white blood cells and antibodies. These white blood cells are central components of our immune defences and play a key role in fending off infections and disease.

Vitamin B12 also supports the activity of T cells, which play a major role in recognising and fighting foreign pathogens in the body. Adequate vitamin B12 levels therefore contribute to strong and resilient immune defences.

A boost for your memory.

Vitamin B12 can have a supportive effect on brain function. It is involved in the production of important neurotransmitters responsible for signal transmission in the brain, including serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline.

These key messengers are crucial for regulating mood, motivation and concentration. Studies suggest that an adequate intake of vitamin B12 may help to reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia in old age and support mental performance in the long term.

Say goodbye to tiredness.

Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin and plays a central role in energy production in the body. It is needed to convert food into glucose, which the body uses as an important source of energy.

A vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to tiredness, lack of energy and exhaustion, as the body cannot provide enough energy to carry out its daily functions. Vitamin B12 is also involved in the production of melatonin – the hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and therefore has a major influence on energy and alertness.

Questions and answers.

Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin that the body cannot produce itself, so it has to be obtained from food. It plays a crucial role in the formation of red blood cells, in maintaining a healthy nervous system and in DNA synthesis. It also affects mood and memory. Vitamin B12 comes mainly from animal products such as meat, fish, eggs and dairy. A vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to anaemia, damage to the nervous system, tiredness, confusion and even mental illness. It is therefore important to get enough vitamin B12 through a balanced diet or targeted food supplements to support health and wellbeing.

Vitamin B12 contributes to:
- normal energy-yielding metabolism
- normal functioning of the nervous system
- normal homocysteine metabolism
- normal red blood cell formation
- normal function of the immune system
- the process of cell division
It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Liposomal formulations have the advantage of offering higher bioavailability than conventional capsule supplements. This is because the liposomes protect the active ingredients and can carry them intact through the digestive tract. As a result, the active ingredients can reach the bloodstream faster and more effectively and be transported to where they are needed in the body.
Thanks to this increased bioavailability, liposomal supplements such as Melinava Vitamin B12 can have a stronger effect in the body. Liposomal supplements may also help to reduce possible side effects, as the active ingredients are released into the digestive tract in lower concentrations, making unwanted reactions there less likely.

Melinava Vitamin B12 should ideally be stored in a cool, dry place away from light. The fridge is the best place to keep it. Once opened, the bottle should be used within 6 weeks.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so vegans and vegetarians can take it with complete peace of mind.

The effect of vitamin B12 can become noticeable in various ways, depending on several factors such as individual metabolic rate, dosage and how regularly it is taken. However, many people report a quick effect within days or a few weeks, particularly in sleep quality, performance and concentration.

Vitamin B12 is needed for many processes in the body, which is why the signs of deficiency are so varied:
- Tiredness and exhaustion
- Weakness and lack of drive
- Depression and mood swings
- Memory problems and difficulty concentrating
- Numbness or tingling in the hands and feet
- Changes in skin and hair texture
- Pale or yellowish skin
- Loss of appetite and weight loss
- Muscle weakness and stiffness
- Confusion and dementia in older people
