Something good for your gut.

Probiotics are natural allies for healthy gut flora. These tiny microorganisms, also known as “good bacteria”, can help promote a healthy digestive system and so support a high level of wellbeing.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

Good bacteria. Great support.

Around 80% of our immune cells are located in the gut. An intact microbiome, meaning a balanced population of gut bacteria, is an essential building block of the body's defences. If this barrier function is disrupted, germs can enter the body more easily, make illness more likely and weaken the overall immune defence.

A balanced gut flora can help to support the resilience of the immune system.

Works beneath the surface.

Recent studies show that there is a link between the gut flora and skin health. If gut function is impaired and the gut flora is out of balance, this can be associated with various skin problems – including acne, rosacea and eczema.

Healthy gut flora can help to reduce inflammatory processes in the body and so support healthier skin and a more even complexion.

For a successful gut cleanse.

A gut cleanse can help to support the natural balance of the gut flora. It can be particularly useful after a course of antibiotics, which often also affects the “good bacteria”.

It can help to bring a disrupted gut environment back into balance and reduce the risk of recurring infections and inflammatory processes. With 18 carefully selected bacterial strains, Melinava Probiotic can promote bacterial diversity in the gut and thus support its natural balance.

Questions and answers.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that can help to restore the balance of microorganisms in the gut. A healthy gut flora is important for digestion and for absorbing nutrients from food. When the balance of microorganisms is disrupted, this can lead to digestive problems such as bloating, constipation or diarrhoea. Probiotics can help to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the gut and encourage the growth of healthy bacteria.

Colony-forming units (CFU) refer to the number of live microorganisms contained in a daily dose. Experts recommend taking a probiotic that contains between 5 and 10 billion CFU per capsule.

When the gut flora is thrown off balance, various unpleasant complaints can make themselves felt:
- Constipation
- Diarrhoea
- Bloating
- Abdominal pain & stomach cramps
- Nausea
- Headaches
- Vitamin deficiency symptoms
- Tiredness
- Fatigue
- Excessive appetite

Melinava Probiotics should ideally be stored in a cool (below 25°C), dry place away from light.

We recommend not opening the capsules. The gastro-resistant capsules ensure that the bacterial strains reach the gut intact so that they can work there.

Tip if you have difficulty swallowing: Place the capsule in your mouth with plenty of water and tilt your head forward (towards your chest). This makes swallowing much easier.

In some cases, positive changes in the digestive system or in general wellbeing may be noticeable within a few weeks. This could show itself as more regular digestion, less bloating or a more comfortable feeling in the stomach. However, it may also take longer, depending on factors such as individual gut health, the chosen probiotic and diet. It is advisable to continue taking it for several weeks or months to achieve a lasting improvement.

Yes! Lactic acid bacteria share nothing with milk but their name – they have nothing to do with lactose or milk protein.
