Directions & notes How to take the product.

Recommended dosage

Melinava Liposomal NAC is a high-strength formula, with 429 mg NAC per daily dose.

Take 1 capsule a day with plenty of water. For best results, we recommend taking it regularly for at least 8 weeks.

Tip if you have trouble swallowing

Place the capsule in your mouth with plenty of water and tilt your head forward (chin towards your chest). This makes swallowing much easier. Alternatively, you can empty the contents of the capsule into a glass of water and drink it.

Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

An amino acid with a crucial role.

The human body is made up of thousands of different proteins, and every one of them is built from amino acids. N-acetylcysteine, or NAC for short, is the most stable form of the amino acid L-cysteine and one of the most thoroughly researched substances. Since its discovery in the 1960s, it has been examined in thousands of studies.

NAC is the starting material for several compounds in the body, but it is especially important for one: it is the most direct precursor of glutathione, the body's natural antioxidant, which is found in every cell. As we age, however, the body's production steadily declines. At the same time, the body uses more of it due to everyday strains such as stress, environmental factors or physical exertion. Targeted supplementation with NAC provides the body with the starting material whose availability decreases with age. Melinava Liposomal NAC overcomes the substance's biggest weakness: the liposomal formulation makes it odourless and tasteless while also ensuring significantly improved absorption.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

What everyday life quietly drains.

Poor sleep, a busy mind, intense training, a meal on the go. Everyday life places demands on the body on many levels, day in, day out. To cope with all of this, the body needs amino acids. As tiny building blocks, they are involved in almost every process in the body, from building proteins to repairing cells. NAC is one of the most versatile amino acids and provides the body with the raw material for several compounds. These include taurine, which plays an important role in electrolyte balance and occurs naturally in the heart muscle, and coenzyme A, which the body needs to produce energy. The greater the daily strain, the more amino acids the body uses up and the more important a targeted intake becomes.

The key to your body's most important antioxidant.

Glutathione is considered the most important antioxidant that the body produces itself. NAC is the crucial building block: the body absorbs N-acetylcysteine, converts it into L-cysteine and uses it to produce glutathione, as needed, at the right time and in the right place.

But as we age, the enzymes that drive this process work increasingly slowly. The body's natural production declines while demand rises at the same time. This is exactly where Melinava Liposomal NAC comes in: as the most direct precursor of glutathione.

A formulation that makes the difference.

Conventional NAC has two well-known weaknesses: it is chemically unstable and develops an intense sulphur odour that many people find very unpleasant. The liposomal formulation of our NAC capsules solves both problems at once. The active ingredient is embedded in phospholipids, which protect it from breakdown in the digestive tract and neutralise its odour and taste. It can be taken without a high-fat meal, and uptake into the cells is improved at the same time.

Questions and answers.

NAC is a stable form of the amino acid L-cysteine. The body absorbs it, converts it into L-cysteine and uses this to form glutathione, an antioxidant produced by the body that is found in every cell.

Possible signs or reasons for taking it:

  • Persistent exhaustion and reduced resilience despite getting enough sleep
  • High everyday strain from stress, environmental factors or physical demands
  • Intense exercise with long recovery times
  • Wanting a well-tolerated active ingredient that is naturally found in the body

Conventional NAC has two weak points: it is chemically unstable and develops an intense sulphur smell that many people find unpleasant. Liposomal encapsulation with sunflower phospholipids solves both problems: the active ingredient is protected from breakdown in the digestive tract, smell and taste are completely neutralised and absorption is improved. It can also be taken without a high-fat meal.

Melinava Liposomal NAC should preferably be stored in a cool (below 25°C), dry place, protected from light.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Results vary from person to person, depending on factors such as age, diet, lifestyle and dosage. The first effects are typically noticeable after several weeks. For lasting results, we recommend taking it for at least 8 weeks.

At the recommended dosage, NAC is considered very well tolerated. The liposomal encapsulation also reduces possible stomach irritation that can occur with conventional NAC. If you take medication regularly, it is best to have a quick word with your doctor before use.
