Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

The power of OPC.

OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) are among the most powerful antioxidants and are found mainly in grape seeds, pine bark and certain other plants. They are considered particularly effective when it comes to protecting the body from oxidative stress.

Grape seed extract is one of the richest natural sources of OPC and also contains a wide range of other valuable plant compounds, including vitamin E, flavonoids, linoleic acid, resveratrol and phenolic acids. This combination gives the extract its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immunoregulatory properties and makes OPC a powerful building block for cell protection and wellbeing.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

Your inner shield.

Thanks to its high antioxidant content, OPC has a particularly valuable property: it can help to reduce oxidative stress, which puts a strain on the immune system. The antioxidants it contains help to protect immune cells from damage caused by free radicals and help them function properly.

In addition to this antioxidant effect, OPC can also have anti-inflammatory properties and play a part in the formation of antibodies. In this way, OPC contributes to a strong, balanced immune defence and helps the body to protect itself from within.

From nature. For your skin.

The antioxidant properties of OPC can also have a regenerative effect on the skin. The antioxidants it contains help to protect the skin from free radicals, which contribute significantly to premature skin ageing by attacking the fibrous proteins collagen and elastin.

In addition, grape seed extract is traditionally valued for its supportive properties in wound healing and its antibacterial effect. It is also thought that OPC can promote circulation, which can have a positive effect on connective tissue health and your complexion, helping your skin stay healthy and resilient from within.

Plant power for your memory.

Studies suggest that OPC may have neuroprotective properties. These may help to protect brain cells from harmful influences and counteract age-related decline in cognitive function.

It is also thought that OPC can promote blood circulation and thus support the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the brain. Good circulation is essential for healthy brain function, mental clarity and concentration, helping you stay mentally sharp every day.

Questions and answers.

Oligomeric proanthocyanidins, OPC for short, are natural compounds found mainly in grape seeds, pine bark and other plants. What makes OPC special is its valuable combination of procyanidins and polyphenols. Polyphenols, in particular flavonoids, are secondary plant compounds and, like procyanidins, are credited with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and blood-pressure-regulating properties. This is why they have been used in natural medicine for centuries to treat and prevent a wide range of conditions.

OPC is known above all for its strong antioxidant effect. As an antioxidant, it can help to neutralise free radicals, which arise in the body from various stress factors and can put a strain on cells. In this way, OPC supports cellular protection and contributes to maintaining important bodily functions.

Thanks to these antioxidant properties, OPC can also support the immune system and protect the body from oxidative stress. At the same time, OPC is associated with positive effects on skin health, as it can play a part in the collagen structure and contribute to maintaining elasticity and firmness.

Studies also show promising signs for cardiovascular health. OPC can support the blood vessels, promote their elasticity and so contribute to healthy circulation. OPC is also said to have anti-inflammatory properties that may help to regulate inflammatory processes in the body and promote general wellbeing.

Liposomal formulations have the advantage of offering higher bioavailability than conventional supplements in capsule form. This is because the liposomes protect the active ingredients and can carry them intact through the digestive tract. This allows the active ingredients to enter the bloodstream more quickly and effectively and be transported to where they are needed in the body.
Thanks to this increased bioavailability, liposomal supplements such as Melinava OPC can have a stronger effect in the body. Liposomal supplements may also help to reduce possible side effects, as the active ingredients are released into the digestive tract in lower concentrations, making unwanted reactions there less likely.

Melinava OPC should ideally be stored in a cool (below 25°C), dry place away from light.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

The effect of OPC can vary from person to person and depends on many factors, such as individual metabolic rate, dosage and how regularly it is taken. However, many people report noticing an effect within just a few weeks, particularly with regard to the immune system and complexion.
