Directions & notes How to take the product.

Recommended dosage
Melinava Selenium is a high-strength formula, with 150 µg per daily dose.

Take 1 capsule a day with plenty of water. For best results, we recommend taking it with a meal and taking it regularly for at least 4 weeks.

Tip if you have trouble swallowing
Place the capsule in your mouth with plenty of water and tilt your head forward (chin towards your chest). This makes swallowing much easier. Alternatively, you can empty the contents of the capsule into a glass of water and drink it.

Note
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

Liposomes – the special technology

Our liposomal technology changes the way nutrients are absorbed by the body.

Thanks to their special structure, liposomes encase the active ingredients they contain and protect them from being broken down in the digestive tract.

This allows nutrients to be transported to where they are needed – right into the cells.

The result is increased bioavailability: a larger proportion of the active ingredient reaches the bloodstream unchanged and is actually available to the body.

Less loss, better absorption, more efficient use.

Protection for strength and vitality.

Selenium is a small but highly effective trace element that plays a central role in the immune system, cell health and protection against oxidative stress. Selenium is particularly important for the body's defences and for maintaining a healthy metabolism.

As selenium levels in the body can fall with age or as a result of an unbalanced diet, a targeted intake is particularly important. With Melinava Liposomal Selenium, you get selenium in a form that the body can absorb and use optimally – for more activity, vitality and all-round protection in everyday life.

Targeted, natural, effective.

Products that make a difference.

Safe & uncompromising.

Our products are regularly put through their paces. Every single batch is carefully checked by independent laboratories to ensure that only the best finds its way to you. Our products are developed with dedication in Europe and manufactured in state-of-the-art production facilities.

Only what really counts.

Every ingredient matters to us. Each one is carefully selected and tested, and comes from controlled cultivation. Our formulations contain premium active ingredients in pure form and phospholipids from European sunflowers.

Absolutely nothing to hide.

We pay careful attention not only to which ingredients make it into our formula, but also to which ones stay out: GMO-free, no allergens, no artificial additives, soya-, gluten- and lactose-free.

For a healthy balance in everyday life.

Selenium plays a central role in the production of thyroid hormones, which largely control metabolism. If the body does not get enough selenium, the thyroid cannot work as well as it should – which can have a negative effect on energy, performance and general wellbeing.

An adequate intake is particularly important during phases of hormonal fluctuation or with thyroid issues. Selenium helps to stabilise energy levels and support inner balance in everyday life.

Everyday immune support.

Our immune system needs selenium to function optimally. The trace element supports the formation of immune cells and helps to keep inflammatory processes in the body in balance.

Especially during the cold season or when you are more prone to infections, selenium can help to strengthen your defences. In this way, it helps the body to be better equipped against pathogens – day after day.

Energy that comes from within.

Selenium is an important antioxidant that helps to neutralise harmful free radicals in the body. In this way, cells are protected from oxidative stress, which is often linked to premature ageing and various long-term strains on the body.

Selenium is a particularly valuable protective factor for people with higher stress levels or heavy environmental exposure. A regular intake can help to support cell health in the long term and preserve your inner vitality.

Questions and answers.

Selenium is taken to provide targeted support for numerous important functions in the body. It contributes to the normal function of the immune system and helps the body to hold its own against infections.

Selenium also plays a central role in the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It protects cells, DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative damage, supporting cell health in many ways. Selenium is also very important for the thyroid, as it contributes to its normal function and so also influences metabolism.

In addition, selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails and to normal spermatogenesis. It therefore makes an important contribution to vitality, outward appearance and reproductive function.

Liposomal formulations have the advantage of offering higher bioavailability than conventional supplements in capsule form. This is because the liposomes protect the active ingredients and can carry them intact through the digestive tract. This allows the active ingredients to enter the bloodstream more quickly and effectively and be transported to where they are needed in the body. Thanks to this increased bioavailability, liposomal supplements such as Melinava Selenium can have a stronger effect in the body. Liposomal supplements may also help to reduce possible side effects, as the active ingredients are released into the digestive tract in lower concentrations, making unwanted reactions there less likely.

Selenium can be taken at any time of day.

Liposomal selenium is absorbed by the body much more efficiently. The liposomes protect the active ingredients and ensure that they work where they are needed. This lowers the risk of side effects.

Melinava Selenium is best stored in a cool, dry place away from light.

Yes! It contains no animal components or ingredients whatsoever, so vegans and vegetarians can take it with complete peace of mind.

How long it takes to notice results depends on various factors, such as your current nutrient status, your individual metabolism and how regularly you take it.

In many cases, the first effects appear after around 2–4 weeks of regular use. Some nutrients, especially those that support energy metabolism and the immune system, may work faster, while others – such as minerals important for skin, hair or bones – often need more time to show visible results.

Patience and consistent use are key to getting the best results.
